Two Teens Nabbed for Burglary and Vandalism in Cliftonville

Just before 9pm on Sunday, May 15, Kent Police sprung into action after a member of the public spotted trespassers in a private yard on Ethelbert Crescent, Cliftonville. The intruders caused damage to the property before being disturbed.

Quick Police Response Nets Suspects

Officers rushed to the scene and immediately broadcast suspect descriptions. A nearby patrol caught two boys lurking in a close-by alley. The pair were swiftly arrested.

Youths Charged: BB Gun Seized

  • Two Margate lads, aged 13 and 14, taken into custody.
  • Both held on suspicion of attempted burglary and criminal damage.
  • The 14-year-old also hit with possession of an imitation firearm after a BB gun was found.

Both boys have since been bailed until June 8 as police continue investigations.
