Police in Maidstone have made significant strides against shoplifting, detaining two suspects charged with numerous theft offences. One man, Steady, pleaded guilty at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 12th February and remains in custody. He awaits sentencing at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 27th February.
Ongoing Investigations Lead to More Arrests
Between 2nd November 2023 and 15th January 2024, a string of thefts triggered swift police response. Another suspect was identified and remanded in custody, scheduled for sentencing at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 21st February.
