Two Women Charged Over Cody Fisher Murder Cover-Up

Two women have been arrested and charged with assisting an offender in connection with the shocking Boxing Day murder of semi-pro footballer Cody Fisher. The 23-year-old was fatally stabbed at Birmingham’s Crane nightclub in Digbeth during the festive season of 2022.

Mum and Auntie Accused of Helping Fugitive

Jahzeen Carpenter, 39, and her sister Nadine Taylor, 44, both from Dudley, appeared in court on Tuesday. They allegedly helped Jahzeen’s son, Kami Carpenter, evade arrest days after Fisher’s brutal killing. Kami was one of two men convicted of Fisher’s murder and was sentenced to life imprisonment earlier this year.

Both women were released on bail and are due to face Wolverhampton Crown Court on 8 October.
