Teen Arrested After Serious Motorcycle Crash Involving Women and Kids
A 17-year-old boy was hauled in by police after a motorcycle crash on High Street, Barcombe last night. The smash happened right after a bonfire and fireworks display, leaving two women seriously injured.
Two Women Hospitalised, Others Treated at the Scene
- A 67-year-old woman from Ditchling and a 30-year-old woman from East Grinstead are battling serious injuries in hospital.
- Three others, including two children, got treated at the scene but escaped serious harm.
Suspect Arrested and Released on Bail
Sussex Police confirmed the teenage rider was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He’s now out on bail as investigations continue.
Police Seeking Witnesses in Ongoing Probe
The road was closed temporarily but has since reopened, with police apologising for the disruption.
