Man Found Seriously Injured in Margate Assault
Police are hunting for witnesses after a man was found with serious injuries in Margate early on Saturday, 31 August 2019.
Assault in Dane Park
The victim, a man in his 20s, was attacked just before 5.20am in Dane Park. He suffered serious head and leg injuries and was rushed to hospital. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
28-Year-Old Arrested and Released on Bail
A 28-year-old man from Margate was detained at the scene. After questioning, he’s been released on police bail until 24 September 2019 as investigations continue.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Kent Police have conducted door-to-door enquiries, spoken to witnesses, and checked CCTV. They are still appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage from Dane Park between 2am and 5.30am to get in touch urgently.
