Drama at Memorial Gardens: Late-Night Incident Sparks Police Probe
A tense scene unfolded at Memorial Gardens, Sandgate Road, around 9.10pm on Saturday 9 September 2023. Two men and two women were involved in an incident that has caught police attention.
No Serious Injuries, But Arrests Made
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. However, police acted swiftly, arresting a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman later that night. Both have been released on bail as enquiries continue.
More Interviews and Ongoing Investigations
A 37-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have also been questioned under caution. Detectives are diving deep, reviewing CCTV footage, speaking to witnesses, and knocking on doors in the neighbourhood to piece together what happened.
