A 75-year-old man was seriously hurt after being struck by a white Volkswagen Transporter van in Culverden Down at around 5.15pm on Saturday, 7 January 2023.
Driver Arrested After Collision Near Tunbridge Wells FC Match
Police arrested a 55-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving. He remains in custody as officers carry out further investigations.
The crash happened close to the entrance of the football stadium just as fans were leaving the Tunbridge Wells FC v Erith Town game.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
