Woman Charged with Murder in Battersea
Diana Cristea, 18, from Barnet, London, faces serious charges after the death of Adrian Murphy in Battersea. She was arrested on Tuesday, 14 January 2020, and charged with:
- One count of murder (Adrian Murphy)
- One count of poisoning – administering a substance to endanger life or cause serious injury (a 40-year-old Walthamstow man)
- Two counts of theft (related to both victims)
- Two counts of fraud by false representation (related to both victims)
Cristea is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 15 January.
Co-Accused Joel Osei Also Faces Murder Charge
Joel Osei, 25, with no fixed address, was arrested earlier on Thursday, 24 October. The next day, he was charged with:
- Two counts of poisoning – administering substances to endanger life or cause grievous bodily harm (both incidents)
- Two counts of theft (both incidents)
- Six counts of fraud by false representation (both victims)
On 5 December, Osei was further charged with murder. He remains in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on 17 January.
