Woman in 30s Shot in East London Horror

Emergency services were scrambled to Westgate Street, E8, just before 9pm on Sunday, 22 November, after reports of a shooting sent shockwaves through the area.

CPR Battle on the Streets

Police and London Ambulance Service officers found a woman, believed to be in her 30s, with a serious gunshot wound. Officers performed CPR at the scene before paramedics took over. She was rushed to an east London hospital, where her injuries are being treated as life-threatening.

Investigation Underway, No Arrests Yet

The woman’s next of kin have been informed. So far, no arrests have been made. A crime scene remains cordoned off as detectives piece together what happened.
