Three Teens Arrested After Brutal Park Brawl in Hove
Three girls aged 12 and 13 have been arrested following a violent assault on a 13-year-old in Wish Park, Hove. The shocking attack happened just before 6pm last Friday (15 August), sending shockwaves through the local community.
Victim Hospitalised After Group Attack
Police were called to the scene around 5.55pm after reports that a teenage girl had been attacked by a group of youths. The victim suffered injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
Arrests Made, More Expected
A 12-year-old and two 13-year-old girls, all from Brighton, are now in custody on suspicion of assault. Police confirm they expect more arrests as the investigation unfolds.
Inspector Kat Argholeka said: “We recognise the concern this report will have caused within the local community and want to reassure the public that a full investigation is underway. Arrests have been made and more are expected.”
“We are aware that footage relating to the incident is being shared online. We strongly urge the public not to speculate and not to share this footage, but to send information to us direct, as this may adversely affect future proceedings.”
