Drugs Bust in Worksop: Cash, Phones, and Class A Seized

The Bassetlaw neighbourhood policing team teamed up with Operation Reacher last Wednesday (5 July) to raid a house in Hardwick Road East, Worksop. Acting on solid intelligence, officers swooped on an address linked to drug supply in the community.

The raid uncovered a stash of cash, multiple mobile phones, drug paraphernalia, and suspected Class A drugs.

Three Held and Questioned, Now Released Under Investigation

Two women, aged 25 and 30, plus a 28-year-old man, were questioned on suspicion of involvement in drug supply. All three have since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

“After receiving intelligence of potential drug activity inside this address, we were able to act,” said Inspector Hayley Crawford, District Commander of Bassetlaw.

“Search warrants like this are vital in helping us tackle drug dealers and remove dangerous substances from our streets.”
