Sex Assault Horror on Peaceful Footpath – Man Arrested

A 47-year-old man from Swanley is in custody after a woman was sexually assaulted while walking through Rectory Meadow near Bramblefield Close.

Attack on Quiet Footpath

The shocking incident happened between 6.30pm and 7pm on Tuesday, 13 July 2021. The victim was approached by a stranger who touched her inappropriately as she walked along the footpath.

Suspect in Custody

Police arrested the man on Thursday, 15 July, arresting him on suspicion of sexual assault. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage

Officers are urging anyone who was nearby and saw suspicious behaviour to come forward. Residents with doorbell cameras, home security systems, or motorists with dashcams are asked to check their footage for clues.
