Police rushed to the scene at 2.24pm on Tuesday, December 1, after a collision involving a silver Toyota Yaris and a blue Ford Fiesta.
Man Dies at Scene, Woman Seriously Injured
A 44-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, a woman was rushed to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious injuries.
A26 Closed for Six Hours
The busy A26 was shut down for around six hours as emergency crews worked tirelessly at the crash site.
