Man Stabbed to Death Inside Car in East London

Police were scrambled at 10:11am on Saturday, 11 November after reports of a stabbing inside a car at the junction of Victoria Avenue and Grangewood Street, E6.

Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene where they found a man in his 20s with fatal stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, he died on the spot. A post-mortem is planned to determine the exact cause of death.

Police Appeal for Eyewitnesses

Chief Superintendent Simon Crick, overseeing policing in Waltham Forest and Newham, offered his condolences and confirmed the victim’s family is receiving specialist support. He said:

“My thoughts and sympathies are with them. Detectives from Specialist Crime are leading a thorough investigation with forensic experts. Additional officers will patrol the 1 Park area in the coming days. We urge local people to come forward with any information or concerns.”

Suspect Released Without Charge

A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the attack but has since been released without further action. Police enquiries remain ongoing.
