Woman Dies in Horror Lorry and Scooter Crash in Wandsworth
Tragedy struck Wandsworth on Friday morning as a woman in her 30s was killed in a crash involving a lorry and a scooter.
Fatal Collision Shuts Major Roads
Police were called at 8.36am on 12 July to reports of a smash at the junction of Queenstown Road and Battersea Park Road, SW8. Emergency teams rushed to the scene, but the woman suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead there and then.
Police Seek Dashcam Footage and Witnesses
At this early stage, no arrests have been made. Officers are trying to notify the victim’s next of kin. Road closures remain active on Chelsea Bridge, Nine Elms Lane, and Prince of Wales Drive as investigations continue.
