Tragedy on A138: Woman Dies in BMW vs Digger Crash
Police rushed to the A138 just after 3.10am this morning, Saturday 31 July, following a horrific collision between a dark BMW 3 Series and a construction digger.
One Dead, Two Seriously Injured
A 29-year-old woman, believed to be a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and another passenger, a man and woman, were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Man Arrested Over Dangerous Driving
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving, plus driving while unfit. The stretch of road between the Pump Lane junction and Boreham Interchange remains shut for a forensic investigation.
