Five Young Men Injured in Deadly Early Morning South London Shooting
At around 3:30am on Saturday, 18 June, chaos erupted near Wandsworth Road, SW8, as five men in their twenties showed up at two south London hospitals with gunshot and knife wounds.
It’s believed they were all hurt during a violent disturbance where a shotgun was fired. One 20-year-old victim remains in critical condition.
Trident Takes Lead in High-Stakes Investigation
Trident detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the hunt for the suspects. They’re working closely with Central South Command officers to crack the case.
“The investigation is in its early stages,” said Detective Sergeant Matt Doohan. “This happened during the early hours when most people were asleep. We need the community’s help to catch those using firearms and knives on London’s streets and stop more injuries.”
