Amazon Driver Arrested Over Hampshire Sexual Assaults
A 28-year-old Amazon delivery driver has been arrested following a string of disturbing sexual assault allegations in Hampshire on Monday, August 12. Police believe the incidents are linked.
Shock at Nursling Post Office
The first victim reported that the delivery driver approached her at a Post Office in Nursling. She told police he slapped her bottom, groped her, exposed himself, and made inappropriate sexual comments.
More Victims Come Forward
- Later the same day, another woman on Ganders Mead was harassed by a delivery driver in a white van. He made lewd comments and even followed her as she tried to drive away.
- A teenage girl reported being approached by a man she believed was a delivery driver.
Man in Custody as Police Investigate
Police have arrested a 28-year-old man from Wembley on suspicion of sexual assault. He remains in custody while investigations continue.
“We urge anyone with information or CCTV footage related to these incidents to come forward,” said authorities.
