Gunshot horror in Smethwick as man in his 30s shot on Christmas Eve
Man Shot on Astbury Avenue
Police are hunting for leads after a man in his 30s was shot in Smethwick just before 7.30pm on December 24. The victim suffered head injuries but thankfully his wounds are non-life-threatening.
Quick Response and Investigation Underway
Officers rushed to Astbury Avenue and took the man to hospital, where he has since been discharged. The Major Crime Unit is now piecing together the events, scrutinising CCTV that captured a car speeding off right after the shooting.
