Motorcyclist Dies in Horror A259 Smash Near Romney Marsh
Fatal Crash Rocks Brenzett
Tragedy struck on the A259 at Brenzett near Romney Marsh when a blue Toyota C-HR slammed into a Honda motorcycle at around 3.50pm on Saturday, 12 April. The smash happened close to Tickners Lane, with both vehicles heading towards Lydd.
The 37-year-old biker was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts from first responders.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is hunting anyone who saw the crash or captured it on dashcam. They want to hear from drivers who were on the A259 near Tickners Lane between 3.30pm and 4pm that afternoon.
“We are working to establish the full circumstances that led to this tragic collision and would be grateful to hear from anyone who was travelling on the A259 near Tickners Lane between 3.30pm and 4pm on Saturday,” a Kent Police spokesperson said.

Ongoing Investigation
The A259 was shut for hours as emergency crews tended the scene and investigators conducted their analysis. Kent Police have not released the identity of the deceased but confirmed his next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
