Police rushed to the junction of Clapham Road and Clitheroe Road in Lambeth at 9.30pm on Tuesday, 4 June after reports of gunfire echoed through the neighbourhood.

Officers arrived swiftly, backed by armed units. Just 16 minutes later, at 9.46pm, a 24-year-old man turned up at a south London hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. He is currently receiving treatment, with doctors yet to provide a full update on his condition.
