Cyclist Flees After Smashing Into 76-Year-Old Woman in Brighton
Sussex Police are hunting a hit-and-run cyclist after a serious crash with a pensioner on North Road, Brighton. The collision happened on Saturday 31 August at around 5pm near Kensington Gardens.
Pensioner Left Injured, Cyclist Vanishes
The victim, a 76-year-old local woman, was crossing the road when she was struck by a man on a bike. She fell hard and suffered serious injuries. Emergency services raced her to hospital, where she was treated and later discharged. Further medical care is expected.
Police Release Key Image in Hit-and-Run Probe
The cyclist took off without stopping or giving his details. Sussex Police launched an immediate investigation and have now released an image of a man they believe may hold vital information.
