Man Taken Ill in Barking Park Sparks Stabbing Rumours
Police were called to Barking Park at around 8.35pm on Wednesday, 16 June after reports of a man suddenly falling ill. Despite social media buzzing with claims of a stabbing, these reports are false.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Officers, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended the incident promptly. The man, believed to be in his 30s, was rushed to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
Investigation Ongoing
Police confirmed: “Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.” There is no evidence of a stabbing at this time.
