Knife Attack Shakes Beckenham Train
British Transport Police (BTP) are hunting a suspect after a brutal stabbing on a train heading to Beckenham sent shockwaves through passengers.
Chaos Erupts on Wednesday Afternoon Journey
The terrifying attack happened just after 3.50pm on Wednesday. Witnesses described panic as a man wielding a hunting knife lunged at another passenger, inflicting serious wounds before fleeing the scene.
Emergency crews, including police and paramedics, raced to the train and rushed the victim to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police Launch Manhunt and Urge Witnesses to Help
BTP detectives, working alongside the Metropolitan Police, have launched a full probe into the stabbing. No arrests have been made yet.
“Detectors are appealing for witnesses after a serious stabbing at Beckenham Junction,” a BTP spokesman said. “Our priority is the safety of all passengers. We urge anyone who saw the attack to come forward.”
