Car Crashes Into Lamppost and Wall on Queens Road
Emergency crews swooped in at around 2:30pm today after a car ploughed into a lamppost and a wall on Queens Road.
Man Arrested Following Hospital Trip
The Ambulance Service, Fire Brigade, and police were quick to the scene. One man was rushed to hospital with injuries reported as “neither life-threatening nor life-changing.”
He was later arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and robbery.
Road Closures Continue Amid Investigation
Police have confirmed no other vehicles were involved in the smash. However, road closures remain in place while officers probe the incident.
“Police were called at 14:30hrs on Saturday, 22 November to a road traffic collision in Queens Road SE15,” said a Met Police spokesperson.
“A car collided with a lamppost and a wall. No other vehicles were involved.”
“One man has been taken to hospital, his injuries are neither life-threatening nor life-changing. He has also been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and robbery. Local road closures remain in place.”
