Brutal Attempted Robbery in Gravesend Leaves Man with Serious Leg Injuries

Violent Attack on Motorcyclist

Detectives have launched an urgent CCTV appeal after a violent attempted robbery in Gravesend left a man badly hurt. The victim suffered serious leg injuries following the brutal assault.

The harrowing incident happened at around 4:20pm on Sunday, 16 March. The victim was riding a red Honda motorcycle along Rochester Road towards Old Road East when two men on an electric bike repeatedly kicked him.

Chase Ends in Crash and Assault

The attack escalated when the victim crashed into metal railings on Parrock Road. The suspects then launched another assault and tried to steal the motorcycle. Failing to get away with the bike, the attackers fled the scene empty-handed on their electric bike — which closely resembles a motorcycle.

Emergency services rushed the injured man to hospital for urgent treatment to his leg injuries.

Police Release CCTV Images, Call for Witnesses

Kent Police have now released CCTV images of the two suspects, hoping to identify them with the public’s help. Officers believe these men hold vital information about this violent crime.

Police are urging anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from 4:20pm to 4:30pm on Sunday to check carefully, especially along these key spots:

  • Rochester Road
  • Lion Roundabout
  • Old Road East
  • Echo Square
  • Parrock Road
