Kent Police Hunt Man in Shocking Bus Assault on Teenage Girl
Kent Police have launched an urgent investigation after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a bus near Chatham town centre. The disturbing incident happened just after 4pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Man Caught on CCTV After Touching Girl on Bus
The victim was travelling on a bus when an unknown man sat beside her and inappropriately touched her over her clothes. The man then got off the bus in Rainham before the girl could react. She bravely alerted the bus driver, and the attack was reported to Kent Police.
After weeks of probing, officers have released a CCTV image of the suspect they want to identify. Detectives believe the man holds vital clues that could crack the case.
“This was a distressing experience for the victim, and we are doing all we can to establish the full circumstances. If you recognise the man in this image, or have any relevant details, please come forward,” a Kent Police spokesperson said.
