CCTV Snaps Three Suspects in Shocking Folkestone Racial Attack

Kent Police have released CCTV images of three men wanted over a racist assault in Folkestone. The disturbing incident unfolded along The Leas and nearby Sandgate Esplanade on Monday 20 June 2022.

Heroic Bystanders Targeted in Hate Crime

At around 5.30pm, a man and woman stepped in after witnessing three men hurl racial abuse at passersby on The Leas. When the man confronted the trio, he was viciously assaulted and his dog kicked.

Meanwhile, a family relaxing on the beach at Sandgate Esplanade near Earls Avenue faced a brutal racial attack. Stones were thrown at them, and one victim suffered punches and kicks so severe they needed hospital treatment.

Detectives Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Police believe both attacks are linked and are urgently appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
