Police hunt man after vicious assault on two teens in Rainham
Attack on Station Road caught on CCTV
Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they urgently want to speak to following a brutal attack on two 17-year-olds in Rainham. The assault happened on Sunday, July 21, between 9pm and 9:15pm on Station Road.
Victims punched and robbed
According to reports, the suspect approached a 17-year-old boy and punched him in the face before yanking a chain from the boy’s neck, breaking the jewellery. The man then allegedly punched a 17-year-old girl in the head, knocking her to the ground and causing a concussion.
Police launch urgent appeal
Kent Police have reviewed multiple lines of inquiry including CCTV footage and believe the man pictured could hold crucial information about the assault. Officers are keen to identify and speak to him as soon as possible.
