Hounslow Murder Probe: Detectives Hunt Clues in Shah Subhani’s Death
Detectives are scouring a commercial site in Hounslow as the investigation into Mohammed Shah Subhani’s disappearance and murder intensifies. The 27-year-old, known as ‘Shah’, vanished after failing to return to his West London home on Tuesday, 7 May.
His family reported him missing just before midnight, having last seen him that afternoon around 12:30pm. Since then, the police launched a massive search, appealing repeatedly for the public’s help.
Ballistic-Damaged Car and Stolen BMW: Key Leads in Murder Case
Shah’s car was discovered on 19 June riddled with bullet holes, confirming suspicions and upgrading the case to a murder inquiry. Then, on 3 August, officers found a black BMW X5 in Hounslow bearing cloned plates (YC67 MFY). This SUV had been stolen months earlier from Farnborough, Hampshire, back in February.
Police want anyone who saw the vehicle on or after 7 May to come forward immediately.
Mysterious Range Rover with False Plates Spotted Near Shah
Another vital lead is a damaged Blue Range Rover Evoque spotted near Derby Road at around 3.20pm on the day Shah went missing. The vehicle had false plates (MF13 AOT) and was later seen in Ilford before vanishing. It may have been handed off to someone else, say detectives.

Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh said, “We’re making progress and our focus on finding Shah’s killers hasn’t wavered. The investigation is like a jigsaw puzzle — missing pieces remain, and your tip-off could be the missing link.”
