Elderly Pedestrian Dies After Hit-and-Run Horror Near Syon Lane

Emergency services raced to Great West Road at 10.29pm on Sunday, June 26th, after a collision between a car and an 88-year-old pedestrian.

The victim was rushed to a central London hospital with life-threatening injuries but sadly passed away the following day.

Driver Stays at Scene, Police Launch Serious Collision Probe

The driver stopped and is cooperating fully with officers. No arrests have been made.

Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are leading the inquiry. They urgently want to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or has CCTV/dashcam footage.
