Suspects Escape on Moped, Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detectives revealed that two masked suspects sped into the Mews shortly before 9pm on a light-coloured moped — described as a white or silver Yamaha NX or similar. They opened fire on a group socialising outdoors, then fled towards Bennett Road and Dora Way.

Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Tunstall of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said:

“My thoughts are with Chino’s family who are having to come to terms with the impact of this senseless murder. I also recognise that such an incident will have shocked the local community. Specialist officers are actively investigating and determined to identify those involved.”

“If you know who did this, please come forward in confidence. Were you near Ferrey Mews around 9pm? Did you see the moped with two riders? Has it been hidden or discarded nearby? No detail is too small.”
