Blaze Breaks Out in Kent – Police Suspect Arson

At 6pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022, a fierce fire erupted on Tomlin Drive, Kent, believed to have started in a garden shed before spreading to nearby homes.

Kent Firefighters Tackle Spreading Blaze

Kent Fire and Rescue Service quickly arrived on the scene and doused the flames. Thankfully, no one was reported injured in the fire.

Police Hunt Three Scooters in Connection to Fire

Kent Police are probing the incident as possible arson. They are urging anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to speak to three individuals seen riding a blue and silver scooter down Tomlin Drive around the time of the fire.

Dashcam Owners Urged to Share Footage

Drivers who were in the area and captured the fire or any unusual behaviour on dashcams are also asked to contact the police.
