Two More Arrests Made in Neasden Murder Probe

Detectives hunting for answers in the murder of 38-year-old Justin Bello in Neasden have arrested two more women. The latest arrests ramp up the ongoing investigation into this shocking killing.

New Arrests in Neasden Murder Case

A 48-year-old woman was arrested on 1 July, followed by a 38-year-old woman on 8 July. Both are suspected of assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice. They have since been bailed, with their next court dates set for late July and early August.

Multiple Arrests Made Since November

The probe has already seen a string of arrests, including:

  • 41-year-old man in Norfolk (29 November) – suspected murder
  • 48-year-old man in Cricklewood (30 November) – suspected murder
  • 47-year-old man in Gipsy Hill (5 December) – assisting an offender
  • 51-year-old man at east London police station (11 December) – assisting an offender
  • 26-year-old man at south London police station (17 December) – assisting an offender
  • 37-year-old man at north London police station (24 December) – assisting an offender
  • 34-year-old man in Upper Norwood (24 January) – suspected murder
  • 31-year-old man in Woolwich (24 January) – suspected murder

All suspects have been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Victim Found in Neasden Back Alley

Justin Bello’s body was discovered in a communal area behind Lovett Way, NW10, on 25 November. A post-mortem carried out on 28 November ruled out stabbing or gunshot wounds as the cause of death, though official details remain under wraps for operational reasons.

Police Appeal for Help

Homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command lead the case, backed by the North West Command Unit. They urge anyone with information, or who saw anything suspicious near Lovett Way around the time of the incident, to get in touch.
