Heartbroken Family’s Desperate Plea After Dachshund Puppies Stolen in Orpington Raid

A Kent family is distraught after a litter of precious dachshund puppies was stolen overnight in a brazen raid at their home in Pettswood, Orpington.

Puppies Snatched Under Cover of Darkness

Thieves broke through fences in the dead of night, targeting the family’s black and tan dachshund pups. The owners returned this morning to find the adorable litter missing – feared taken to be sold on.

The family, who wish to remain anonymous, said: “The mother will be whimpering and scared. It’s absolutely awful.”

Raiders Likely Knew What They Were After

It’s believed the raiders specifically singled out the home, aware the puppies were there. The family said they heard nothing during the break-in, making the theft even more chilling.

“They broke through our fences and we think they specifically targeted us knowing we had them. We didn’t hear anything but we came down this morning and found them gone. We’re absolutely devastated.”

Reward Offered for Safe Return

An urgent appeal has been launched for the puppies’ safe return, with a reward offered. The family urges anyone with information to contact Kent Police on 101.

They ask that if anyone finds the puppies, they are taken directly to a police station in Kent to be reunited safely.
