Anyone under 16 caught out between 9pm and 6am without a responsible adult risks being taken home by police. The move aims to keep youngsters safe and curb late-night trouble.
Police Warn Offenders: Drive Like a Nut, Pay the Price
Inspector Liz Jarvis, from Kent Police’s Medway Community Safety Unit, said: “Although the dispersal order is in place for a set time, anyone who drives in an antisocial manner at any time may be prosecuted or have their vehicle seized.”
“Antisocial behaviour can be distressing for the communities and businesses affected. I would encourage anyone affected to report their concerns to us so we can take the necessary action.”
“Anyone with concerns can contact us on 101 or by using the online reporting facility on the Kent Police website.”
