Fatal Dog Walk Shocker: Man Dies in Eynsford Crash

A tragic hit-and-run has rocked Eynsford after a man walking his dog was fatally struck by a Range Rover.

Crash Details

Between 7pm and 7.10pm on Saturday, January 25, 2020, a black Range Rover sped along the A225 High Street towards Sevenoaks. The vehicle collided with a man in his 60s walking his dog, killing him instantly. Two parked cars also suffered damage in the chaos.

Arrest Made

A 63-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody as police continue their investigation.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are urging anyone who saw the crash or the Range Rover and pedestrian beforehand to come forward. Witnesses are asked to call 01622 798 538 or email kent.police.uk">[email protected] quoting reference RY/DS/011/19.
