“We are continuing the search this morning for a man who was seen entering the water yesterday.”

Specially trained officers are supporting the man’s family during this distressing time. Multiple emergency services remain at the scene conducting investigations.

Public Urged to Stay Clear and Help

“We advise people to avoid the area while investigations are ongoing,” said DI Bates. He also appealed to witnesses:

“If you were near the reservoir around 5pm yesterday, please come forward and assist our investigation.”

Warning Over Open Water Dangers

As temperatures are set to climb this week, the incident is a stark reminder about the risks of swimming in open water.
