Chemical Attack Sparks Emergency in Blackheath Flat

Police, paramedics, and firefighters rushed to a Blackheath flat this afternoon after a chemical attack was launched through a letterbox.

Deadly Substance Squirtted Through Letterbox

A person reportedly squirted a noxious substance and left a package at the front door of a property in Galton House on Shooters Hill Road. Around 2.30pm on Sunday, November 8th, emergency services scrambled to the scene.

Forensic Vans and Fire Crews Swarm Area

  • Five emergency vehicles attended, including two Forensic Services vans
  • Fire service deployed multiple appliances and a DIM unit
  • Queen Elizabeth Hospital set up as a testing and holding area for the substance

Police have launched a large-scale investigation into the attack. The Met Police have been approached for comment.
