Tragic Fall Outside London’s Standard Hotel Claims Woman’s Life

A woman has died after plunging from a height in central London, police have confirmed.

Incident Near Kings Cross Shuts Down Roads

Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to the scene just after 5am on Tuesday. The fall happened outside the Standard Hotel near Kings Cross station.

A crime scene has been set up, and part of Euston Road remains closed as investigations continue.

Police Statement on Fatal Fall

“Police were called to Euston Road, WC1H, at 5.26am on Tuesday, 8 December following reports that a woman had suffered injuries consistent with a fall from height. Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A road closure is in place on Euston Road while enquiries continue.”
