Flames Spotted on A340 Tail
At around 7.10pm, ground staff spotted flames shooting from the rear of an A340 jet parked on a stand at the UK’s busiest airport. They quickly raised the alarm, triggering an emergency response.
Heathrow and London Fire Brigade Join Forces
Both Heathrow’s fire service and London Fire Brigade crews rushed to the scene. Luckily, airport fire crews had already tackled and fully extinguished the blaze by the time additional crews arrived.
