Teen stabbed to death in Ashford street horror

A young man has been fatally stabbed on Brookfield Road, Ashford this Saturday afternoon. The victim, believed to be 19-year-old Jaydon McFarlane, suffered fatal injuries in the shocking attack.

Murder probe launched by Kent Police

Kent Police and the Serious Crime Directorate have opened a murder investigation after the stabbing just after 12.27pm on 14 March 2020. Officers say the victim was in his early 20s. The investigation is ongoing as detectives pursue multiple lines of inquiry.

Police seek witnesses and dashcam footage

Detective Chief Inspector Gavin Moss urged anyone in the area near Clockhouse around the time of the stabbing to come forward. He said:

“I am keen to hear from anyone who was walking, cycling or driving in Brookfield Road shortly before or after 12.27pm on Saturday 14 March. If you have dashcam or video footage, please get in touch.”
