Brutal Attack on Ilford High Street: Father of 10-Year-Old Beaten to Death by Seven Men
Shocking photos have emerged of Sorin Serbu, the 36-year-old father who was savagely beaten to death on Ilford High Street. Locals knew Sorin as a gentle giant from Braila, Romania, famous for his kindness and willingness to help anyone.
Horrific Assault in the Early Hours
In the early hours of Saturday, November 12, around 2.48am, seven hooded men—believed to be Romanian—attacked Sorin with blue pickaxe handles on Ilford’s High Road. Police rushed to the scene following reports of a violent fight.
Sorin Fought for Life but Succumbed to Injuries
Officers found Sorin lying in a pool of blood but still alive. Paramedics treated him on the scene before rushing him to an east London hospital. Tragically, Sorin died from his injuries just before 4.35am on Sunday.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
So far, no arrests have been made. The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command continues to investigate this barbaric attack.
