Five Men Held Over Disturbing Grenfell Effigy Burn Video

Police have arrested five men in connection with a shocking video showing an effigy of Grenfell Tower set ablaze. The suspects, aged 19, 46, 49, 49, and 55, handed themselves in at a South London police station at 10pm on Monday, November 5.

Public Order Offence Under Investigation

The men were arrested under section 4a of the Public Order Act, suspected of causing a public order offence related to the offensive online footage. The Metropolitan Police’s dedicated Grenfell investigation team is now leading the probe.
