Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a serious fire at a block of flats on Parrock Street, Gravesend, just after 7pm on Sunday, May 13. Three fire engines battled the blaze that had erupted inside one of the four flats.

Brave Crews Tackle Flames with Hose and High-Powered Fans

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters swiftly evacuated all residents and doused the flames using a hose reel jet. They then deployed a high-pressure fan to clear thick smoke from the building, ensuring the area was safe.

Investigation Underway – Street Remains Closed

The cause of the fire remains unknown and is being investigated. Meanwhile, Parrock Street is still closed off, with a police cordon firmly in place to keep onlookers away as emergency teams continue their work.
