Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit by Car in Watnall
Police rushed to Main Road, Watnall at 10.07pm on Friday after a 35-year-old man was struck by a car. He is now in hospital with serious head injuries.
Stabbing Victim Also Treated
During the same chaotic incident, a 21-year-old man was stabbed in the arm. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Four Arrested as Police Launch Murder Probe
- A 22-year-old man is held on suspicion of attempted murder.
- A 21-year-old man arrested for causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
- A 39-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman detained for assisting an offender.
All four remain in police custody while investigations continue.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Inspector Richard Guy from Nottinghamshire Police said: “This was a very serious incident that has left a man in hospital with very serious injuries. Our investigation is ongoing and officers are currently working through a wide range of evidence.”
