Lamar Davis and Teen Guilty of Brutal Stabbing Murder
Lamar Davis and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were found guilty of murder on 15 December.
Frenzied Attack in Basildon
Lee, 26, was stabbed multiple times in a savage attack on the night of Friday 6 March last year on 1 Road. One of the wounds pierced his heart, another punctured his lung. He later died in hospital.
Life Behind Bars for Killers
At Basildon Crown Court on Monday 26 April, Davis was handed life imprisonment with a minimum term of 14 years, plus an extra two years for drug offences. The teenage accomplice received life imprisonment with a 14-year minimum term.
Third Man Gets Hefty Sentence
Tyrel Thompson, 24, of Kingston Road, Wimbledon, was convicted in December and sentenced to a minimum of 27 years behind bars for his role in Lee’s murder.
