First Picture Emerges of East Croydon Teen Stabbed to Death
A shocking attack in broad daylight has left 16-year-old Louis Johnson dead after he was stabbed on a busy railway station in East Croydon.
Stabbed During Rush Hour Machete Attack
Louis was targeted in a brutal machete assault on an over-bridge at East Croydon Station at around 4.45pm on Monday, right in the middle of rush hour. Earlier that day, he had already escaped a failed attempt on his life, spending hours as a “dead man walking.”
Tragic Twist Before the Attack
Friends revealed Louis was heading to a Youth Offending Team (YOT) meeting in Battersea. Staff there had promised him a £50 voucher if he made it home by 6pm. Though meant to take a taxi, Louis instead chose to catch the train — a decision that proved fatal.
Police Hunt for Attacker
Officers at the scene were seen scouring CCTV footage to identify the teenager’s assailant. The investigation is ongoing as the community reels from the shocking killing.
