Police Hunt Two Men Over Flag Theft at Sheffield Town Hall Protest
Sheffield officers are on the lookout after two men scaled the roof of Sheffield Town Hall during a protest on October 10 and snatched the flag flying there. CCTV images of the suspects have now been released as part of the investigation.
Flag Snatch Sparks Hate Crime Probe
The incident is being treated as a racially aggravated public order offence, believed to be a hate crime under the Public Order Act. Despite multiple investigative leads, police need the public’s help to ID the two men caught on camera.
