Daylight Laptop Heist Shocks Isle of Wight Town

Police have launched a probe after a daring laptop theft at Pete’s Computer Services on Regent Street, Shanklin. The brazen daylight robbery took place just after 2.30pm last Friday, leaving local business shaken.

CCTV Footage Could Crack Case Fast

Luckily, the entire theft was captured on CCTV, showing two suspects loitering in the shop at the time. The stolen item? A HP ProBook 450 G2, identifiable by its serial number.

Suspects’ Looks and Lingo Under Scrutiny

Witnesses describe the female suspect as standing about 5’4”, sporting a long black coat and a bright yellow scarf. She has shoulder-length brown hair and was speaking with an Eastern European accent.

The male, described as around 4’8”, wore blue jeans, black trainers with white soles, and had short black hair. Police say he was hooded during the incident.
